It was a cold winter day, as the snow flowed in the wind.
While everyone wants hot soup and our cooked meals there are some people who don’t get it at all. These people are considered ‘Beggars’ or poor people. These people don’t get their wishes, even on Christmas but this year all will change.
Jack who was a ‘Beggar’ walked down the street slowly since the presence of warmth was non existent in this time of the year at least to Jack.
Jack was a former soldier who he fought with his family in World War 3 and was the only survivor from the family sadly he was trapped in this country and his other cousins thought that he died with his parents.
He went into a dark alley and took out a box saying
Please donate So I can eat
Of course every one ignored Jack, except for a handful of people who dropped loose change but it still was not enough for him to have a full meal but just a can of soup and some bread.
To us a can of soup and bread for the whole day is nothing at all but to Jack it was everything to him.
He sat there still cold until a man dropped a pack of matches and sticks.
The man said “I hope this will help you start a fire behind you so you will keep warm.”
The man also dropped some loose change and smiled at Jack.
Jack having manners thanked him and planned on spending it for the next month.
A pair of boys walked by and went to a nearby store to buy some Games but one of the boys suggested to the other to donate the money to Jack but it started a fight and the one who wanted to donate lost.
Night arrived and as his last match was used up the fire would only last a few more minutes.
He wrapped himself up with cardboard with multiple layers.
The fire was more warm than the cardboard blanket so he burnt them and it was already midnight when the fire ran out but he couldn’t sleep due to the cold.
Until, a young lady went to Jack and said,
“Here have my coat it will keep you warm.”
To us it would be nothing but to Jack once again, it was last one on earth and it had been given to him.
So there he sat with a smile on his face and lied down, but the lady said to him, “Don’t lie down there I have a lot of homes I will give you one and a job a well.”
So Jack followed her into a vehicle and travelled far away to a village with all big houses and the lady gave him a key.
She said “God bless everyone on earth,” with a smile on her face.
